We were honoured to be chosen as the Shoalhaven builder to complete this Gerroa Renovation and double story Extension overlooking the stunning Gerroa headland.

ABOUT THE BUILD

We learnt that this house had been in the family for 40 years with the family having ties to Gerroa from as far back as 1928. 

One of the main features of this house is the breathtaking view of Seven Mile Beach, Gerroa. Which is why when undertaking this renovation we wanted to ensure that this view remained uninterrupted, but able to be enjoyed regardless of where you are in the house.

A few unique features of this Gerroa renovation include the Scyon Linea cladding which helped achieve that Hamptons style along with the polished concrete floors. 

Our favourite feature is the balcony and glass balustrade that shows off Gerroa headland.

What we always loved about the place was the aspect towards the ocean and that plus more usable space for a 3 generation family is what we were hoping to achieve. My wife’s father visited Gerroa from about 1928 so there is a connection for a long time.

What you have produced has exceeded our expectations. We have effectively a new house on an old footprint, which has enhanced the aspect and view enormously. Your organisation exceeded all expectations and your attention to detail and regular reviews was unsurpassed. Initially I was dubious about some suggestions which I felt may increase costs for no gain but that was totally incorrect and just added to the value of the outcome.

Over the years we have done a number of major renovations on a couple of properties and this was the easiest due to the regular communications and onsite reviews. We both felt very comfortable that you used local tradesmen and products and hope the project supports the local communities.

We both wish you the very best for the future and have no hesitation in recommending your work to anyone.

I would like to add Michael my thoughts that everyday spent here has been one of joy as I discover something new about the house that I had not seen before and I agree with Brett that your attention to detail in all aspects is truly refreshing. Some of my favourite things are the wooden gate to underneath the house, the black plumbing used in the laundry area, the skylight in the bathroom, the polished concrete floor and the fact that the house is so quiet at night despite strong winds. We love the verandah and spend most of our day there soaking in the view and enjoying the beautiful weather. I commend you for your tidiness during the build and the cleanliness of the house when we moved in. You have an excellent work ethic and a positive future ahead of you. Congratulations.
