1. Pre-site

Once we receive your renovation or extension enquiry our Director Michael will be in touch by phone, this is usually a preliminary chat to get a brief understanding of what you may be after. 

From here we then organise a face to face meeting usually onsite at the property you are wanting to renovate or add an extension too. 

We welcome any designers or architects that you may be working with to also attend this meeting as this will enable us to get a detailed idea of exactly what you are looking to achieve and your estimated budget for the renovation. 

We will then provide you with a no-obligation free quote based on this information and organise a follow up phone call or meeting to discuss any questions you may have. 

Once we have your approval to proceed with the renovation we can then schedule the start date and begin the most exciting part of the whole process... the renovations!!

2. Construction

At Digger Brothers Building we appreciate that choosing us as your builder to renovate your family home can be a big step which is why we have a big focus on transparency and open communication. 

From the moment we start your renovation our Director Michael will be in regular communication with you by phone and email to ensure you are kept up to speed on each part of the renovation process. 

Whilst every effort is taken to ensure no challenges arise during construction if in the event we encounter one, we will work with you to overcome it in a timely and cost effective manner, whilst providing full transparency on the matter at hand. 

We know that construction on a home is disruptive to the residents of that home, but it can also be disruptive to neighbours which is why we work within business hours Monday to Friday and wherever possible do our best to keep noise to a minimum. 

OH&S is something we take very seriously so all visitors or trades to one of our Digger Brothers sites, must go through a safety induction before stepping on site. At the end of each day the job site is tidied thoroughly, so as to minimise any risks.

3. Handover

This is our favourite part of the process! Once we have completed your Kiama or Gerringong renovation we will hand it over to you looking brand new. This is where all of our hard work pays off when we see just how happy our clients are with their newly renovated home.
